Corporate Social Responsibility
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, I feel compelled to give back to the community that helped provide a happy childhood and happy life. I wish to spread that happiness to as many people around the world as possible, especially, the Tampa Bay area.
I believe my first “broad” awareness of the human trafficking crisis around the world came when I watched the movie “Taken”. It not only opened my eyes, it upset me to know that this is going on in our world and it seemed so little was heard or even done about it. Awareness is MUCH greater now and there are many efforts to diminish and expel human trafficking from our communities and our world. I am happy to find CREATED, a local organization that is putting “boots on ground” to reach out to victims and help them create a new life for themselves.

CREATED is a Tampa, Florida based organization that, not only has an outreach program for these women but, also, provides housing and helps them become independent. Florida is 3rd in the nation for human trafficking across the U.S. The Tampa Bay Area, including Pinellas County, is one of the greatest problem areas in the state.
